FAQ

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
You can start by calling now or scheduling a time for Kimber to call you. On our call we will discuss your availability and needs. From there we can schedule your complimentary introductory private yoga session.

WHAT SUPPLIES DO I NEED?
You’ll need a mat, two blocks, a blanket, and a strap. Click here for our easy shopping guide. It’s okay if you don’t have everything for the introductory session. We can determine then if you require any additional items.

I’M JUST LOOKING FOR A TEACHER TO DO A ONE-TIME SESSION. DO YOU DO THAT?
We work with clients who are interested in working with a private yoga instructor on a weekly, ongoing basis. We don’t offer single sessions at this time.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE IN A SMALL GROUP PRIVATE CLASS?
A small group can be up to 4 students.

I LIVE A LITTLE OUTSIDE THE AREAS YOU LISTED. WILL YOU TRAVEL TO ME?
For outdoor in person sessions we mostly work in Odenton, Jessup, Severn, Gambrills, Crofton, and Millersville. If you are slightly outside our zone, we may be able to accommodate with an adjustment to our rates. However, online sessions are also available for further distances and to maintain social distancing during the pandemic.

I'M INTERESTED IN ONLINE PRIVATE YOGA BUT I'M NOT TECH SAVVY. CAN YOU HELP?
Yes, we can! We will send detailed instructions and answer any questions during our phone call. The introductory session will allow us to work out any technical bugs as well. You will need a laptop with a webcam.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
Private yoga rates are comparable to private psychotherapy rates. We’ll give you a quote during our phone consultation.

I’VE NEVER DONE YOGA BEFORE. IS THIS FOR ME?
Yes! Personalized instruction is an excellent way to begin a yoga practice.

I HAVE AN INJURY/ILLNESS/DISABILITY. CAN YOU WORK WITH ME?
Private yoga lessons are ideal for injuries or health conditions, as you will receive the instructor's undivided attention. We’ll discuss your specific needs on our phone call, and make sure you work with a teacher who has the skills to give you the best experience possible.
